Shame GTx and/or Race Chrono don't also use the accelerometer though, then they could act like a g-meter

Apple has on their app store a device which uses the accelerometer in the iphone or in the itouch that will measure your quarter mile times. Actually there's a pair of programs, and the better one is only $12.95.

It would be slick if we had one that integrated the accelerometer and the GPS.
