Vodafone Cancelation Address

I'm able to get out of my vodafone contract.

I'm going to take this chance, switch networks to get a new phone.

Vodafone don't seem to have a clue when ringing about my situation, and they are slow at replying via e-mail, so i thought someone might know the address on here?

I have to dive 30 days notice, and i can request my PAC code.

If i request my PAC code, how long will it take for them to send me it? Once i recieve confirmation on canceling my contract, i'm off to buy a new one straight away as i can't deal with the current phone i'm using (motorola razor, as i sold my n95 8gb), so if i can switch without having to change my number, then it would be great!

Best calling them mate, you can cancel within 30 days off you start contract, or within 14 days from the end.

Anything in between you pay line rental x remaining months.

They can give you PAC code over the phone mate.

Well, i was with a re-seller of vodafone (dot mobile), who has gone bust, offered a package that vodafone themselves do not do. Vodafone "saved" them and bought them, and placed me on a contract without informing me, didnt tell me any details about it, and i was unable to confirm any details. The contract is nothing like what i signed up for, and i'm within my rights to cancel, as the whole contract has changed. They said i can cancel without paying any fee's, but are tyring there best to keep the users who were signed up dot mobile.

So ringing them, they don't have a clue about all the users who were on dot mobile, and don't know any answers!

So just call the cancellations line and ask for your PAC code, if your satisfied that they cannot offer you anything to stay.

If they can't find anything as you were a Dot mobile users, ask for a manager or complaints department and escalate it further.

Did they refuse to give you the address when you called to cancel ?

They never actuall said i can cancel on the phone, only what to do if i can, they just said they'll ring me when they know more (lies), so i just e-mailed them, and they replied saying i can cancel, but gave no address, phone number or anything! I think there doing it so its just even harder for me to cancel!

You're too soft with them, just get on the phone and ask straight out for the address, ignore anything else they try to distract you with, just keep insisting on the address and/or PAC code.

Just rang them again, the menu options have changed, so i'm guessing i'm fully onto the contract now, so i managed to get through to a cancellation line. Got the address, but they won't give me my PACcode, because they said it wouldn't be 30 days notice then, so i'm guessing i can get that in 30 days, which by then eveyone would know my number anyways!

Unless i keep being persistant with them and demand it but it'll cut off the 30 days notice they need!

I want a new phone asap from a different network. Would i be fine ordering the new contract now, whilst i'm still on vodafone? I'm worried that i'll buy the new contract, then send the letter off to cancel vodafone, and they'll turn round saying i can't cancel, then i'll be stuck with two contracts! Or because i have proof of that they said i can cancel, it will be ok?
