New to the N95 Phone Help Needed - No Tools tab
Hi all. i bought an unbranded Nokia N95 for my birthday.
Being 18 i want to have everything i can on the phone. internet, music, videos etc etc
The only problem is is that when i open up the main menu there isnt a tool menu to access the LAN and usb connections and stuff.
Anyone got any ideas? |

Could well be, if theres no tools menu on the main menu then what else can it be |

Certainly sounds like a clone. The Tools tab missing, is a reference to one of the latter clones.
What does it say when you key on *#0000# into your keypad.? Let us know exactly what it says on the screen when you input this. Also, if at all possible, post up photos of your handset please.
Where did you buy it from my friend.?

Yes, as suspected, you have purchased a clone.! How much did you pay, where did you purchase it from, and how did you pay?

got it off my girlfriends dad. have to find out where he got it from and get money back from him
tradetang i think it was.
Does this mean that i won't be able to access the internet or have any music on my phone?

You have basically a paperweight my friend, Its very limited on spec.
Let us know how you get on.
Can you upload any photos of it at all? For research, and library purposes.
A quick search for tradetang revealed a site, that they sell clones of many phones. A few of examples below. The price is the dead giveaway for anyone who is not sure..
They are also using NOKIA library photos to advertise some clones.
