FAO Admin - Sales forum suggestion
Having watched the for sale forum the last week or so I have noticed an increase in the number of "dodgy" sales being posted up by new users etc
Having caught out 2 in the last two days I wondered if it might be worth imposing a minimum post limit on creating sales threads on the forum to try and lessen the chance of an un-suspecting member getting caught out by an un-scrupulous seller ?
I will also try and keep watch for obvious con men and if anyone is really concerned about something they can feel free to PM me to check the IMEI if i'm available.
Just thought i'd run the idea by you

How about adding in a new status for people with less than 25 posts? These can be a lot more limited in general not just the sales forum?

I think you should just edit them to say they are fakes, it is not illegal to sell them as long as it is stated they are not real. Someone might want to buy one I guess.

Even selling clones/fakes, people are still supporting, and funding the counterfeiters.! I'm trying to fight these kind of devices, although its a global issue, and not something I can do alone, but at the moment, Im in talks with the BBC, and Nokia, and who knows what the outcome will be.
Agree with your suggestion Gaz.!
Those two for sale ad's Gaz is referring to, both sellers, although different IP addresses, both share the same email domain, (hotmail.com) and registration domain,(BT).

Actually I think that you should have to be registered to be a seller, like on Ebay you have to register your card details first. However you can still buy, this could be done and mods could check outstanding sales before allowing them to be viewed?
