Three have been great. had many phones with them almost from launch. The renewal offers have been amazing, and as I'm on an old contract I can use O2/Orange 2G and 3 3G which gives great coverage. (new customers only get orange 2G+3)

Far better than my experiences with Orange, and in the last couple of years they've been great on the data tariffs (I have xseries silver 1Gb FUP). O2 on the other hand have been serious laggards on data.

The issues come with the customer service etc with 3 which is absolutely awful !
Also the handsets that 3 use give us the biggest problems once they have the 3 firmware loaded .

id go with o2 i think they are the best operator in the uk , there handsets come unlocked , minimal branding on them , customer services are tops , good tariffs , treat their re newing customers very well indeed ,

i shopped around a little while ago looking for the n82 as o2 dont do it anymore , no one could match o2 tariff for me , if they did i still had to pay for things like mms and video calling with o2 its included in my free mins and txts

i also use the o2 250mb allowance and have used the internet loads but never been charged a penny so 250mb is plenty saying that i wouldnt moan at the 1gb that 3 offer with their data packages

Personally I would say Voda are currently the best for consumer tariffs in the UK but 02 for business tariffs

possibly but 02 isn't quite as good signal here as Voda or Orange although T Mobile is the worst by far.
Then only 25 miles away in Birmingham T Mobile has excellent signal so it really does vary from town to town for signal where as the tariffs are a more universal way of deciding upon networks

O2 is by FAR the best provider.
I did a lot of research as well and ended up taking o2 (despite being of a higher tariff) but instead i got a solid 3g connection at my place with unlimited internet bolt on. They dont put any ugly logo on the phone and their customer service is amazing

Voda are fine unless you dont want the sticker

3 is awful from what i have heard so i steered clear from them.

I personally a very happy with O2 and woudnt change a thing. They dont have that 200MB limit anymore now and are just great. Having a free bolt on (internet) sealed the deal for me!
Also... one real great thing is being an o2 customer you can get high quality (i mean high) from just 7.5 a month!! And from what i have heard, its real amazing there aswell
