Make sure you buy a good quality Torx screwdriver, you don't want to round off your screws now do you?

Just fixed my N95-2 as shown in the instructions. Feels great now.
I didn't have to take the cover completely. I just exposed the 3 screws, applied the electrical PVC type and thats it.
The screws though were philips type and not torx type.

Now I want to fix the front keypad (the one underneath the screen, with the call On/Off) that makes crack noises as well.

Very easy to do.

Remove the 4 x screws holding the front cover on using the correct screwdriver.

Using a nylon opening tool, prise the side clips open, and the front will pull off, make sure you hold the lcd in place however, as this is lightly bonded to the front cover. One cover is off, the key pad will pop out using the nylon opening tool.

What is nylon opening tool? Is it a special tool that Nokia sells?
