My n95 keeps beeping with a error
Hi,
Only recently got my new n95 and first i think its a great phone. However i am having a annoying problem with it at the moment. Every say half a hour or so it beeps and comes up with a message saying something like " sorry we were unable to connect" i cant read wot it sais properly because it pops up and goes again after like 1 or 2 seconds.
Has anyone got any ideas what the problem is ? I think its trying to connect to the GPS or something
Any help would be great
Thanks !

Sounds like you may have an app trying to automatically connect to the net.
Press and hold the menu button untill a list of open apps appears in the top left of the screen. Also, please put your phone model and firmware version in your profile so we can help you quicker.
PS Welcome to the forum.

Hi Moosey!
Do you have an email account set up to automatically retrieve emails?
Go into Messaging then Options then Settings then Email then Mailboxes.
For each of the listed mailboxes, go into each one then select "Automatic retrieval" and make sure that "Email retrieval" is set to "Disabled".
That's all I can think of I'm afraid.
