Talking next firmware
Any idea Guys n Girls when the next firmware is out for the N95 8GB ?

Currently have v20.0.016 installed.

No new Software is planned for RM320 as yet

What problem are you having with V20 ?

It's unlikely you'll see any new upgrades any time soon, with the pending N96 release.

Then again Nokia didn't disappoint us even though the N81 and n81 were both being released last year.

Nothing really, I was just curious.

Curious if they would release FP2 for the N95 8GB in a firmware release.

Although in saying that my GF's 6220 Classsic has it and some of her software doesn't work from the N73.

Probably not, but i'm hopeful :)

to be honest until issues arise with the V20 software they have no reason to make another just because some folks just like to get higher and higher numbers :P
Some devices go through life needing very few updates where as others (including N95-1) have needed lots to get them working right . 6500 slide will be one of the latter where as the 5610 has been fine

I upped my fw last week and it`s 20.0.015 ... just checked now.. says mine is uptodate :(

I was told a new FW for the non-8GB Versions will be available when Sandisk brings µSDHC of more than 12 or 16 GB (not sure which) to the mass market.
I was told this when I bought my N95 directly from a Nokia Rep who had an event in a local megastore.
He told me when I asked if the phone would support cards bigger than 8GB.

He's pulling your leg.. Nokia "officially" don't support cards bigger than 2GB in the N95-1
