How to upload pics to flickr?
hey all whats up, im having a hard time uploading pics to flickr straight from my phone in high quality. i mean, i look at the pic details on my phone and the resolution shows 2592 x 1944, but when i upload it to flickr, it shows up with a resolution of 1024 x 768. as you can see here on someone else's flickr page, Flickr Photo Download: 06092007442 the original size is 2592 x 1944 and heres mine 07/25/2008 on Flickr - Photo Sharing! with no "original" option on the right as the first one and with a max res of only 1024 x 768. any help would be appreciated, thanks. |

When you're looking at the photo form within your Flickr account, look for the link to "All Sizes". I was able to find the original resolution pics in there.

did you see the "original size" with the burger pic or with the car pic? the car pic is mine and when i click for all sizes, "original" 2592 x 1944 isnt there.... |

You need a "pro" account to see the original image. It's 24 USD annually, and well worth it in my opinion.
The photos you've uploaded to date are still archived in the original 5mpix image for use if/when you purchase a pro account even though you can't view them now.

You need to PAY to see your OWN pics in original quality??? Now that is SO NOT OK IMHO....geez...

Strange,
My Flickr account gives me access to the original and I haven't paid them a cent.
When you open the picture page, there are a bunch of icons above. I click on "All Sizes" and I can download the full size photo.

weird, i clicked on the "all sizes" tab, i dont get the "orginal" option....oh well, thanks guys for your help! |

My Yahoo account was set up by my ISP years ago and I set up the Flickr account in November. I must have lucked out somewhere.
