Take a look at the service manual, as far as I can gather, the small screws in the Upper Block are Torx-5. The ones in the Lower Block are Torx-6. I doubt that just any Torx-5 screw will be suitable though as the name only refers to the type of drive-socket it has, like cross-head or philips... I imagine that the diameter, type of thread and length of the screw can vary widely.

The correct type of screws for the N95 are avilable on the Net though, I believe.

I intend to write some notes today, detailing how to swap the case, using this particular case-set as a basis... Swapping the back case is simple of course but changing over the front face is not quite as easy and there are a few tips that I can pass on... I can let you have a copy of this when it's drafted-out if you're interested?[/quote]

Could I get that please?

Adiemask... Sure, when you're ready to go ahead and fit the case, I can let you have a copy, PM me when you need it.

It's only a rough draft at the moment but I intend to post it when it's completed, if you need it before then, let me know.

****dofink... That's the very last time that I spare your blushes by correcting your errors privately, rather than publicly... Pal!

Oh sure... make up lies to cover your inadequacies. Unbelievable.

I was just trying to share knowledge with you.

Sheesh.

Five more demerits, BTW.

!!Warning!!

This is a warning to anyone thinking of buying the Black Fascia & Casing...

The one referenced to in this thread.

I've just discovered that the black coating of the face-plate is so poorly applied that it can easily be scratched off, using a fingernail.

!! I can no longer recommend this item !!

I can only apologise to any who were misled by my original reports on this case.

I did mentioned that I had seen items from this seller, and the paint finish is less than desirable and not recommended, and I was starting to think that the quality had improved...hehe...

You were right, pfrog but your 'I Told You So ' post that you were unable to resist, would be received far more kindly, had you omitted the gloating "hehe" that ended it.
