To get v12.0.0.14 in the UK you must: - Download and Install Nemesis Service Suite from here;
- Once installed connect your PC and Phone to a power supply;
- Install Nokia PC Suite and Nokia Software Update; [should already have these]
- Now connect your N95 to your PC using connection cable;
- Do a complete phone backup;
- Run Nemesis Service Suite [NSS] and change the product code, to do this you have to:
- Open Nemesis Service Suite and click “Scan for new device” on the right-upper part of the window;
- Click on the icon “Phone info”;
- Click on “Scan”;
- Change Product Code To "0534841" (take note of current code, you will need it later);
- Click on "Write";
- Close NSS;
- Run Nokia Software Update;
- Leave your phone connect to you PC and the mains, if the battery dies so does the phone!
- Once finished repeat:
- Open Nemesis Service Suite and click “Scan for new device” on the right-upper part of the window;
- Click on the icon “Phone info”;
- Click on “Scan”;
- Change Product Code To "Old Code";
- Click on "Write";
- Close NSS;
- Then restore your backup.
It must be done in this order, any other way and you risk your backup not working and if either the phone or PC shuts down during upgrade your phone won't work!
If stuck refer to:
N73 Firmware Upgrade Instructions [More-A-Less The Same]
Nokia N95 Product Codes [If In UK Use EURO1, EURO2 or EURO3]
Notes:
I used EURO1 and did it exactly as mentioned above and mine works perfectly :)
EDIT: I did this for v12.0.0.13 just cahnge your product code to an Asian code and that should work. Please tell me how it goes :P

Hey are there any noticable differences in the two firmwares? Is the key press bug fixed? And ive heard the font is slightly different. And just one more question is there a camera shutter sound?

As has been said before, the 12.0.0.14 is ONLY intended for APAC handsets.
It may well disable functionality on a non APAC region handset due to differences at firmware AND hardware level.
It is NOT needed for any other region, and should not be installed UNLESS made available for the euro1 product codes!!!!

No problem with anything except using backup and restore!
You run a real risk of problems with the file allocation table for the phone mem.
This can clash with the FAT on the mem card and can lead to issues! Just use PC suite sync.
If you do an update far better to create a fresh platform (format the mem card as well after saving any needed folders to PC/laptop) and afterwards reinstall all apps to the phone mem and copy back your needed folders!

When I do my backup I use Backup Manager in PC Suite. Also I use this for restoring it

Hello Guys..
On using the NSS try to use the APAC Product code 0536085 and it will work just fine and it will try to update from 12.0.013 to 12.0.014 ... after the update revert back to your old Product code and restore your back up..

You don't need to change your product code back.
Restoring settings from backup across different firmware versions can cause problems, certainly did once for me, but should be OK if going from such close numbers.
