Today my screen on the
N95 crapped out on me. It was acting funny (distorted bands across the screen), and then I rebooted after which the screen was totally dead (blank, lights present). Checked tv-out works find, did backups and all types of resets, and reflashed the firmware to no avail.
Talked to Nokia, who said its covered under warranty, so at this point I need to know what other users experience has been with nokia service centers. In my case it will be sent to a domestic service center here in the U.S. I have looked at some other threads and heard about horror stories regarding how long the phone had been away but those threads were from a long time ago, im hoping now that there are official U.S versions, the domestic service centers will have all that they need in-house to perform the repairs.
So does anyone have any experience with NSC turn-around time?
Any input would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
