FAQ post
Ok so I was just thinking about something for the site that might help and might be really worthwhile. I was thnking about compiling a master thread kind of like the Tips thread but more of a must read for newbies kind of deal. I wanted to compile a list of the most frequently asked first timer question and even include a list of the different versions of the N95's what they are and maybe even the most up to date firmware for each. Maybe even include some rules for the forum such as no new IPhone threads what so ever.
It just seems that we get a lot of repeat questions and there’s a tips threads and a must have apps thread and several different threads that are common to each other and very important. If we could maybe compile (I’d be willing to) a list of what the more veteran users feel would be the most useful things for someone that’s just starting on the thread to read. Maybe even put the thread up when someone first registers as well. Anyone think this would be a good idea?

I agree.
Like, if you have a problem
have you turned the phone off and on again ?
have you upgraded to the latest firmware ?
Also addresing certificate errors (date/signing.) seems to come up a lot.

ok I'm going to start putting together some ideas and get them up and I'll just edit as I go. Thinking not really a thread but a single post that can be updated for people to read. If anyone has any suggestions to put in it they can post it here or PM me. I'm going to start with the different versions of the N95s and list the latest FW for each. Might take a little while so hopefully by next onday or Tuesday I'll have a nice list put together

Expired Certificate - Set the date back on your device by Settings -> General -> Date and time. then install the application. You can then change the date back to normal.
Certificate Error - You need to sign the application. View here for more information on signing manually or here for the GenialSiS program.
I say i say.

You mean the mods haven't already thought of this? Oh My, they are slipping!
Agreed - great idea, especially as the N95 becomes ever more popular and the forum continue to grow.

Jkoppee... That's a great plan of yours, a comprehensive FAQ would be very helpful indeed and appreciated by everyone, I'm sure.
