E-mail address/spam filter?

Hi

Can anyone tell me if there is a peice of software out there that can allow me to add to a 'blocked' addresses list to prevent spam emails?

My service provider was pretty useless at answering this question so i thought i'd turn to the people who know more about it than the 'proffessionals'!

I basically want to have the same control over my emails in my N95 as i do in Outlook. With no spam filter/ blocked list, the email function becomes pretty useless to me.

Please help?!

if the world was so simple that we would all use gmail accounts.. guess i would shoot myself

if you´re running your own servers, britts-vajayjay - i guess there is no help that i knew of! a spamfilter for ANY mailprovider (myself included) would be a big hit, especially if it would recognize spamsignatures / X-Headers from tools like SpamAssassin.

If you know of any - please let me know, i share the same problem as you do with over 1.500 spams coming in a day. having a flatrate i really don´t care downloading them, but SORTING them out is a real PITA on my E61.

Thanks for your answers, the first one was what my service provider said and for a 'proffessional' she was pretty stupid because i'd already told her that my email is hosted by my own website and not a big popular free mail.

so yes. It looks like i'll just have to sift through them all! bum.

Thanks for your help
