O2 or Nokia Service Centre?
Hi I would like your advice as to whether i should return my phone to a Nokia Service Centre or to my O2 shop where i got my phone. the reason for this is i still cant get a GPS lock.I have tried everything and used all the advice from this site.Any advice will be greatly appreciated.Thank you.

The shop where you bought it would be the best. And if they cant solve it they will then probably refer you to the NSC
|

My personal oppinion. O2
Go in and ask for them to check it out, and give you another N95 replacement whilst it's away.
I had bad experiance with my Nokia centre.

If it's less than 6 months old, then you don't have to prove that the fault existed since purchase. O2 have to prove that it didn't. They then ought to exchange the phone. If they baulk at that then just casually mention Sale of Goods Act and Trading Standards and say that you need to check out your consumer rights.
However, it still may be quicker, and better, to use a service centre if you have one local.

bad experience with nokia's service center here too so i suggest you see your local service provider first.

I think it might take longer somehow. I went to a carphone warehouse nokia care point, quick and highly recommended

With CPW, your milage may vary - It took them 4 weeks to swap out my N95 last year... :/

I don't think o2 give out phones for you to use whilst yours is sent away,as that is what they do.
I'd take it to the NSC first.

I know CPW rent out an old ****ter for you to use if they have to your handset away but when i went to o2 with a problem a while back now i didn't even get the offer,and i'm on o2 select as well.
