Just to add about the use of the accelerometer, where a lot of people have said that nokia have included this in and not used it...

It is being used with video stabilisation for recording. the pixels on the screen along with the movement of the phone will detect how the phone is shaking and stabilises the picture accordingly.

just thought i'd add that, as this is how it's worked on an iris recognition thing we made (obviously not on the phone, but wouldn't be a bad idea :)

Actually I did have the idea to use the accelerometer in a similar fashion but alas I'm just a lowly Flash Programmer ;P can wait... would love to make some unique games for the phone after this gets released

I've always known there was a tilt sensor in use with the camera, if you take a pic in portrait orientation and same again in landscape, they're always orientated correctly, the camera clearly 'knows' which way up it is, didn't know it was as fancy as it is though - going to be killer apps - I really reallly hope MARA sees the light of day soon on the N95 :) :)

Exactly, no amount of firmware upgrading is going to fix that one, LOL!
