Data security and all that. Why would I want to give anyone access to that?

Did that only come up as you installed the app?
It could just be a generic disclaimer added to the setup of the installation.....

Via PC Suite then says on phone:

LightSabre_S60_3_X_v_1_5 application

Install Lightsabre: Yes

Lightsabre version1.05(0) Symbian Type:Application

Instal phone memory: Yes.

Then go into phone, Apps, App Manager

Lightsabre_S60_3_X_v_1_5

says Not installed.

When I try to install it, it says cannot as installer already in use.

Power off and on

Then go into phone, Apps, App Manager

Lightsabre_S60_3_X_v_1_5

Install: Yes

Prepping to instal...

Application untrusted: Continue

Instal to phone memory: continue

Allow application to read user data: This is where I stop and wonder exactly what I am giving it access too....

Any advice?

All it means is your accelerometer... It needs to read your accelerometer to know when to make noises (swish.. and flick)

Even more fun for WII Owners, strap your N95 to a wii controller while playing the star wars light saber games.

Actually adds to the fun (and saves buying a genuine nintendo crappy toy add-on saber).

The downside is I won't do that again until my replacement screen arrives .... OOPS.
