Nokia N95

Hiya,

I have recently got my N95 and im still learnin about it. On my k800i when i used the camera and set a few settings, such as camera flash off and infinite focus, when i turned the phone off or came to use it again the settings were still present. When i use my N95 the flash is always on, so i have to manually turn it off. Its a pain as it will drain my battery down and i hardly ever want it on. Yes i can turn it off in the menu but id prefer a way to turn it off and STAY off! lol

I don't think that you can as the camera will always open to the Auto Scene mode which has the flash set to auto. Conversely I prefer it this way rather than having to turn the flash on every time I want to use it as with some other phones.

Thanks for the replies guys, Ive just tried a prog called ccam. It takes pics with no flash or "ch ching" noise.

really good apart from its just froze and i cant end the app........

I guess il just stick to the default cam.

Is there a keyboard shortcut to deactivate the flash without going in the menu? on my k800i i just pressed the star button.

Ive pressed the keys but no joy lol

go to any shop and take out the flash

There is no keypad shortcut mate, only one to load the camera application it's self.

Only way to stop it 100% is to remove it from the circit board, but that's not advised really.
