Disaster... Camera...broken help?!?
Hello All, new to here and n95. I have an LG Prada and after 10 months have finally given up and bought a sim free n95 (second hand). Just changed the housings to black and looks quite sexy.
I also wanted to replace the camera shutter as it was looking a bit tired.. some of the silver had flaked off. I read the forum about it just being held down by adhesive and promptly went on removing the shutter.
I don't consider myself the daintiest of person and when removing said shutter something pingged out of the camera area. Now I have the 3 pieces which none appear to be broken and know where they came from. Just not sure how they fit together. I have pictures below:
Camera area (circled area in question)
The 3 pieces that flew out
Of The 3 pieces (left to right). The 1st piece is a spring, the middle piece looks like a bracket to keep it all in. & the 3rd piece is some sort of lever.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Michael x

Thats the hidden switch, the switch that turns on the camera when you open the shutter.

Very carefully. Ive not a seen this covered in the Nokia Care videos which are posted on here.
I could get a close up large photo of the switch on my N95 if that would help?

Yes that would be most helpful... if not I'll just have to take it to my newest Nokia repair centre... I wonder how much the bill will be for that?!?
Thanks

Here you go. Looks like the small black part is the rocker switch inside, the spring keeps it central, and the cover hold them in place.
I wouldn't of thought it would be too expensive to get it fixed, probably around £40 maybe.

ahhhhhhhh I fixed it.... thanks to your picture I was able to figure which way the metal bracket went. then the black switch would only fit one way within the bracket. And the spring had to sit with the short (curved arm at the top and the long thin arm - which triggered the connection to the bottom). and the whole lot on top of it. Thanks so much :)
