hey sory i thin i cant capture video in anyway it just happened once somehow n i got the audio clear but black screen as video but i cant have a recording again....
i have 1gb card nokia printed on it... the one i got with the phone

Maybe return the handset to Nokia, as it may be a hardware fault after all.

Not sure, but you may have 24 months warranty on it. Worth a try, take it to Nokia, see what they say. If it is out of warranty, ask how much it would cost to fix.

another way to check for a hardware fault is to actually look into the center of the camera as you open the camera app, you will see it move at the bottom, once the camera is open you can also hold down the button half way and watch to see if the lens moves to auto focus. It's a VERY small movement but if you watch it on an angle you can notice it move or not.
Outside of that you can try changing to a different product code and reinstall you FW again to see if maybe there's something wrong with that FW.

yup i think the lens is not opening coz i compared the change in lens just after removin cover in n95 n n73 n i found tht lens protector ..is not openin for my n95 ...so i will get it chked at the nokia carepoint soon.. but yes its warranty was 1yr only

ok so it does sound like a mechanical problem then. It's always funny when a mechanical problem seems to arise at the exact time of a software change such as FW update. It's easy to jump to blaming the software change when in fact it's just coincidental that they occurred at the same time. Let us know how everything goes with getting it fixed
