Photos using PANOMAN

went boarding last night and tried the new PANOMAN software that automatically stitches photos together to make panoramic pics. LOVE IT. So far it seems to be an awesome really easy to use piece of software. Just another reason to love the N95

Is that taken with the new 3.0 version? Are those downsized pictures on flickr? What are the actual dimensions?

Yeah it's the new 3.0, just downloaded yesterday.

I used the photostream option to upload them directly from the phone so I'm not sure how they are up there. I know with Flickr you can view different sizes so it might be showing a smaller size.

I just posted comments with actual dimensions for ya

Also just to add a note: I noticed twice last night that if I took a pic with around 4 frames it would say out of memory when saving and then I'd hit save and it was fine. I noticed just now that the 2 times that happened it saved it both times but the second picture is quite a bit reduced in dimensions. The first one went form 3792 X 636 to 1430 X240. I still had both pics but it seems like the program handles low memory pretty well by downsizing the picture so you dont loose it

I will definitely do that. I'm going boarding again on the 26th so check my flickr site then.

I have some of my office that I took when I just got the program and it's seamless

Thanks for those jkoppee... The Panoman Flickr pics are very good! particularly the last one taken with that program... It's a better demo of it's capabilities than some of those on the Panoman site IMO.

I'm also surprised by the quality of the pics themselves, considering the low light conditions that they were taken in.

Hey! What kinda place IS this Noo Joizy? You only get daylight on Wednesdays? ;)

There's no Trial for Panoman is there? Also the site says that it sends a download link to your phone... do you then HAVE to download to your phone? If so, can the .sis file be saved to a PC as backup?

Thanks...
