Problem access shared files on PC

Using my N95 I can access the internet through my PC with no problem.

I want to be able to share files both ways. I downloaded SymSMB2.00 and followed instructions i.e. setting up accounts etc... but I can't access the phone from my PC nor any network drives I've created in SymSMB.

The connection in SymSMB is active. On the PC I have a BT Homehub router. I can see from the router that the phone is connected. I just can't get any further.

My PC is SP2. I've turned off my firewall to see if this was the problem but it still didn't work. I'm not on a domain.

In the PC I've created folder shares that show up in \\computername
I've created the Shares also on the phone.

Any ideas?

I followed these steps first off. Excellent post, however, it doesn't work. When I try and access the Network Drive from the phone I get a Time Out error. I wonder if I need carry out any steps on XP to get up the network.

Are you going to Options/Settings/Connections/Options/Start and establishing a connection before you try to access the Network Drive?

EDIT: And have you used the NAME of the PC, NOT its IP address in Network Drive Host setting?
