NEWS - Nokia Software Updater loses Vista Support
Just been reading this on Nokia's site..
Microsoft Vista support temporarily removed - 8 May 2008
Support for Microsoft Vista has temporarily been removed from the Nokia Software Updater. This is due to recent changes in certain Microsoft Vista configurations that cause the Nokia Software Updater to become unstable. Other Microsoft Operating Systems are not affected. Support will be reintroduced as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Hopefully they'll fix it by the time nex firmware upgrade comes out. I've had enough troube applying the last update. They should have it fixed, period.

I got stung with this one today, had to update my firmware so I could install n-gage.. software updater updates and wham, no can do for firmware update. Guess i'll need to sit tight until Nokia get their finger out...

Why couldnt you just run it in the run program like xp mode?

Please see link below if you have Vista. help NOKIA fix this problem by giving them some basic information by email.

Bit late I know, but heard about this yesterday..
Nokia Europe - Device software update - Support
Nokia Software Updater planned maintenance break - 17 May 19:00GMT - 18 May 19:00GMT
There will be a planned maintenance break this weekend, during which time the Nokia Software Updater service will not be available. During the maintenance break, customers attempting to use the Nokia Software Updater will see the message "Connected phone not supported". We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
