had a play with it this arvy at work... I could be wrong but I couldn't find the option to let it actually manage my music (eg, change a song name and the file name updates as well) didn't try the CD ripping, but copying to my device seemed surprisingly fast...
Aesthetically more pleasing than Windows Media player, but I'll have to wait till it fully scans my library (around 100gb worth) to see how it performs...
I know t's still in beta, but they could've done a lot more with it... (Podcast intergration)

Just got this error message while changing my default music location
I lol'ed
Is anyone else using this app?? I really like it...
My criticsms...
- Performance isn't all that effeciant... It can take a while to load (hopefully they'll improve on this though)... sometimes I have to start it, end the NMusicServer.exe and NokiaMusic.exe processes in my task manager and restart it before it'll run...
- I wish they'd allow it to manage movies and the like..
- Podcast integration... The way iTunes handles podcasts is great... I hope they intergrate this, and a way to search the iTunes podcast directory (There's a few podcasts I want that are only available through iTunes... I don't want iTunes on my PC though)
- WINDOWS MEDIA KEYS!!! WMP uses them, Winamp has the option to enable them, why can't this (and other players like iTunes) use them?????
Transferring music to my device does seem surprisingly fast though... It won't run on my work PC since installing the new PC suite beta, but there's a pretty good chance that's not Nokia's fault...
I think I prefer it over Windows Media Player, Winamp still reighns as king media player in my books though... I hate the way Microsoft integrate things like WMP and IE into Windows so well though... (I know you can remove them... but I don't...)

New version...
Nokia - Nokia Music PC Client 1.5
First of all I would just like to thank all those people who have posted comments, defect reports and suggestions relating to the old Beta. This has been an incredibly useful exercise for us here at Nokia Music. Thanks to the contributions of those on this forum we have been able to identify and fix over one hundred defects in this new version. Things we have been able to solve include a large number of ‘stability’ type defects, the ‘Unknown Artist’ bug, as well as a number of issues around device connection.
Unfortunately a bug in the older Beta means Vista users will have to manually remove the previous version using ‘Add/Remove programs’ before installing the new version.
Functional changes since the previous version include a new ‘lighter’ colour scheme and support for ripping to AAC/AAC+/eAAC+ format.
The supported devices list has also been extended to include the following devices: N76, N78, N81, N82, N91, N95, N95 8GB, N96, 5220, 5310, 5320, 5610, 6210, 6220, E66, E71.
Please keep the comments and feature suggestions coming. A lot of your suggestions have already made it onto our wish-list for the future.
We will release the next Beta update sometime after 28th July. The Music Store integration will be activated some time after this.
