NSU Critical software components missing

Does anyone know how to solve this issue please?

have tried new software.. still same problem

any suggestions?

Could you give us a little more to go on please?

PU/Laptop OS?
What versions of NSU & PC Suite have you installed.?

Do you, or have you at any time installed Phoenix, or Nokia Care Suite on your PC/Laptop?

What Nokia software do you have installed on your PC/Laptop?

Can you see any Nokia drivers/Modems in your control panel(add/removed window)?

windows xp

pc suite 7.0.8.2

latest version of NSU

All I have is PC suite, flashing cable driver and connectivity cable driver

As far as I know I haven't ever installed any of those other programmes

What have you tried so far to resolve this issue with NSU?

I would suggest you remove everything Nokia related from your PC/Laptop.

This includes manually removing any Nokia devices installed such as Modems etc.

Go into Program files, and delete the Nokia folder.

Then install cCleaner, and run it, apps, settings, Analise/clear.

Reboot PC/Laptop, then reinstall the latest version of PC Suite first, then establish a data connection between your N95 and computer before going onto NSU.

Once you have done all this, and established a connection in PC Suite, let us know.

thanks, done all that, but now NSU freezes when you try to load it??

also.. the nokia website recomended ovi suite, is that the right one?

So lets get this straight. The first thing you did after all I recommended, was to establish a connection between your N95, and PC Suite correct?

Did you reboot your PC/Laptop following running cCleaner?
