Clearly i know the Logo's themselves work on a range of nokia's, but i mean the whole NokiaLogo App/Process.

Its a java file, from the looks of it it should work on any series 60v3 phone. it even works on the newer series 40 phones like the 6280

Yep, I press Yes on them both, and then it doesn't do anything, not freezing as such, just not doing the task...

maybe try to redownload the blank.bmp file

right click and save as. also try placing it in a different location and see if it helps

I have created a few of my own logos.
Just download hairil's .bmp, open it in MS Paint and edit it the way you want it.
It must be saved as a monochrome .bmp, as this is what it is initially.

worked perfectly for me. Thank you. I like the idea of changing to any logo you like for example could you put your name there. I would need to know how to create the bitmap file for that though. Again though fantastic easy to follow guide

Hi hairilabubakar or anyone,

I enjoyed following the excellent tutorial on how to "blank out" the operator logo on the phone standby screen however I would now like to "insert" my own logo.
Could you please tell me :-

How to make a .bmp file measuring 128x32
&
How to insert this onto the screen to replace the blank that I now have.
