yes mcbain, i dunno why everyone is against it tho, because its only temporary ( though there is a way now to make it permanent ), and all privileges return to normal after you reboot your phone. will post up a guide for the oplogo change , soon.

nope. only the access is temporary. whatever edits you've done in the system folders should still remain

yup if you follow the guide in my 'Changing Oplogo ( Colour )' thread its temporary. Only the main thread about ' SYmbian FP1 Hacked' has instructions on making it semi-permanent ( There are instructions to modify specific file browsers, but by uninstalling them , the hack is gone )

I prefer to just use the temporary hack. It only takes seconds to apply each time I want to change my op logo.

No. It somehow keeps your original OP logo. I changed mine ages ago, and before going to the colour logo, (whole other EXISTING thread), the one i changed to disappeared and my optus one simply came back.

Well i let it delete but it ended up not changing. Pressed yes and nothing happened. Weird, i guess its not for north america being at tin everyone who responded is in some other part of the world. Ill just wait.. Those other ways seem too complicated.
