Many very good questions, with very good answers.
A few highlights-
Looks like the internal GPS is going to be available to 3rd parties- however no compatibility exists yet (I expect tomtom is going to be all over this, at least I hope so!)
Nokia's retail pricing guideline is set at 550 Euros (good news for sure). Of course... retailers can and will get whatever they think they can for it upon release.
Maps come from TeleAtlas. Over 100 countries are supported with maps, and the premium service, which adds navigation, is to be supported in 30 countries (more to come of course). It appears that the navigation may cost up to 5 and a half euros per month. There will be discounts if you purchase a year of navigation. You can also pay per day for a nomial fee.
Also- these maps will be cached to conserve on network data usage. You can download the maps from home and load them onto the
N95. It says that you should only have to download a map for an area once... I guess unless you delete it of course.
There seems to be bad news about youtube videos. I guess you need another service to watch them. The flashlite player isn't able to stream the videos from youtube :(
Very good news on a lot of things. I found it a very nice and comforting read. Check it out!
