Will this MicroSD card work?
Hi, i've just become an N95 owner, and i'm very happy, i LOVE this phone.
Anyway, i have an ipod nano 8GB, and uptill now all of my phones don't even come close to it regarding music quality, but i'm amazed my N95 sounds better!!!!!!.
So now i'm going to sell the ipod and use my phone, so now i'm looking at a microSD 8GB card.
So will this work -
Sandisk 8GB Micro SD (SDHC) memory card with Sandisk USB reader : SanDisk 8GB micro SD
Nokia say's the phone will only work on cards upto 2GB ??
The only downside to this is itunes is alot better than the nokia music transfer software, but i should get used to it, (unless anyone knows of a better program) ???
Also i love the forums/site, i've read alot already.
Paul

That card should work fine.
And as for music transfer, windows media player can do a decent job - but personally i just copy and paste, no fuss with extra software :)

That card, from that particular supplier will most certainly work ok in your N-95.
Instead of using the Nokia music transfer software, why not either connect to the phone by USB cable and select 'data Transfer' on the phone to display the memory-card as an external drive on the PC and just drag & drop your music files to it?
OR, for a MUCH faster transfer-rate, use the supplied card-reader and connect directly to the PC. :)
EDIT: Huh! beaten to it again, you're too quick for me girl! ;)

Yes you can but I agree with Calamity that the best way to transfer to the memory card is by "copy & paste" straight onto the card rather than via Windows Media Player. You can then create playlists in the phone if you want to although the items you "copy & paste" will be on a list in the phone under "albums" or you can look at them under "artists".
The direct transfer is much, much quicker than via Windows Media Player especially if you have a SD/HC complient memory card reader (remember that SD/HC cards will not work in normal card readers).
