Hya I'm trying to get my n95 pay as you go phone unlocked from t-mobile, I looked online last night and bought what I thought were gonna be the code but recieved emails this morning saying it was not compatible......
Ive been advised by t-mobile to send a letter requesting the PIN but could take up to 6 weeks. So after finding your community I thought I'd ask here.

Its not s much as unlocking you're N95 mate. It's unlocking it from T mobile. if you give them a phone on this number 0845 412 5000 then ask them for a subsidy pin so you can use a different networks sim they will know what ur talking about. only problem is you have to hve been with them for 3months and also they charge £15 for the code.

I got mine unlocked with these :

UNLOCK NOKIA N95 ALL NETWORK UNLOCKING on eBay, also, For Nokia, Ringtones, Logos Software, Mobile Home Phones (end time 29-Mar-08 10:09:38 GMT)

Excellent service and nicely package back to me.

yeah your rite about t-mobile!! The thing is I only bougt the mobile yesterday so means I have to stay with them for the whole 3 months and all my friends and family are on orange... and it means changing my number that ive had for years.

any other help greatly appreciated regards

can you use a "turbo sim" these apparantly work ? some on ebay..

Think of the 3 months as a sort of protection, for all T-Mobile know you could sign up for a contract and get off with a 400 quid handset after getting a unlock code and never pay a penny besides £15 quid aint so bad it could be alot worse you could be with 3 and have to pay your full contract price plus a unlock fee

Mine was allready unlocked, but I was told by one shop yesterday that it had to be split and something to with 3 pin's inside had to be connected up to something and would take about 3-4 days and would be £25

Then another shop said half an hour and £15!

I was in with a mate who was asking about something, but i thought i'd ask about the N95....there's conmen everywhere desparate to "steal" you cash...

Forgot to say....mine was on an orange contract, I'm on 02 payg.
