The Guide on here works perfectly and is very easy to follow...tried and tested by hundreds of user like yourself...

Follow the Guide word for word and you will have your N95 as its supposed to be in no time!!

Hi there, as a newbie here, i'd like to say what an informative forum this is. Anyway back to the real reason ive posted this responce. I recently upgraded my Nokia N95-1 on the Orange network to the dreaded V13.0.003 and as has been reported by many members I found that my Battery which usually lasted a couple of days with normal use, would now only last about 8 or 9 hours doing nothing but standby!I've searched for a cure to this problem and think I may have inadvertantly found one. Now here is the strange thing, for some reason unbeknown to myself I decided to switch my phone off and remove the Battery just to give it a clean. I put the battery back in, switched the phone back on and charged my phone up in the evening. Now I was expecting my phone to have no more power by the morning, but lo and behold I had full battery power left. Ive used the phone all day texting as normal and even used the Wi-Fi link to my Sky Broadband box to search the web to give it a good workout, and guess what, I am still showing full power on my battery meter. Now I'm no Phone Techy at all, but I wondered if all of those people who upgraded their N95 with version V13.0.003 and had the same battery problem as me, have you ever switched your phone off and back on again? To be honest I never do normally, mine is always on. Now given that many computer programs need you to switch the PC off then re-boot to work, is this a similar thing? Anyway give it a try, it may or may not work and best of all it costs nothing, let us know if anybody else finds this to be a magic cure!
