N95 Colours
As everyone no doubt already knows, the N95 will be released in 2 colours (well, the back cover at least- front body work will be silver). If we assume that, at least at first, supply/demand will be such that you are just given the handset without being given a choice on its colour, what will you be hoping for?
Personally I think they're both cool in an abstract sorta way, but think i'd prefer the plum one...

I've said it before, I'll say it again-
I'll gladly take it in hotpink/leopard skin if I can have it this month!
Seriously though, I think I'm hoping for plum.
Wait- No Nokia banner on the plum model? Maybe I want sand...
(fanboy... )
I'm not even interested in a black model...

Definately Plum for me, if i get a choice. personally i think the sand one looks more like gold!
Richard
P.S. looking at the back of the phone, which incedentally i haven't really paid attention to. it seems to me that its perfect for an extended battery with a bigger cover over it. it doesn't look like it will affect the camera at all.

Good call, Richard. I was thinking about that before... it would be an easy solution for Nokia to please all those power hungry users out there. I'm suprised it hasn't been more noted yet. I'd imagine a third party would get on this, but I always hate to use 3rd party power devices- it just scares me. They had the same thing for the PSP, a larger battery that added a hump to the back. It would be less noticable with the N95, I would think.

I have been using a 3150mh battery on the back of my JasJar for about 10 months now, Apart from adding about 1cm thickness to it the only other side effect i see is about 4 days extra use out of it. and i use it all day!
I really shouldn't worry that much about third party batteries, if bought from a reputable supplier that has done their testing properly you won't have a problem...
looking at the 95 i reackon they could get away with adding about .5cm to it, thus doubling the battery capacity, if the size of the BL-5F is anything to go by anyway.
