Message store order
Right had a good look through the forum before I posted this, and couldnt find anything anywhere. I have a couple of quick questions, first one, is there a way of setting the phone so that when i get a text message, it previews the start of the message, and tells me the contact who is sending the message, as I cant find that anywhere.
Second question is how do i store my messages in my inbox and sent items as the last message i sent is at the top, instead of in the middle.Same in the inbox the last message i recieve doesnt automatically go to the top of the inbox, i have to scroll through them all to find them, they normally land in the middle somewhere, and its quite annoying when i have a lot of messages in there. Also when i send a new message, is there a shortcut of selecting the contact,as this is a very long winded way of selecting before ive even started to write the message.

1) if you just open the INBOX, it has the list of messages, who sent it and the first few words of the message.
2) Cant say i've ever had this happen, mine are always in chronological order.
What version of firmware are you running on?

Is the date or time wrong? They should not go in the middle the latest goes at the top. It should also tell you the contact or number (if you dont have the number saved) who sent you the message. I think you need to har reset your phone mate. What firmware are you using? (type *#0000# on the main screen)

Firmware is V11.0.026
17-04-07 RM-159 (68.03).
Only had the phone a month, so not sure if its updated or not.
The date and time are correct, but having these problems still. For example another message has just come through, so i didnt open it (Mine only says 1 message recieved, and not the contact details)???????????????, I then went back into mt inbox, scrolled right the way down to the middle of my messages where I found it? Wierd.........

I think your right, i just presumed that with it being a month old only just, i thought it would be upto date, trouble is everytime I go to the nokia site and type the product code in, it says invalid code, and no firmware update available, and the disc that came with the phone wont install the update manager software, it just comes up with instulation failed everytime i try it.

Where are you getting the product code from? The white sticker under the battery? 7 digit code.
