95-2 wont switch contacts from "last name first to "first name first"...

Even though I've changed it in the tools, there's 3 setting as you'll probably know, but it wont change to what I want eg "first name first".....whats wrong?

Debranding = changing the product code of your phone to a product code that has available firmware upgrade released..Product codes vary per region/country.

So I'd have to do that in order to be able to to this then, but my phone's brand new so doing this invalidate's the warranty....that right.

I was a bit nervous about debranding my phone and upgrading the firmware but am i pleased i did!!! It has made it work much faster, better battery life and bug with button response has gone. The guys on this forum explain how to do all this stuff so clearly if you follow instructions you will be fine.Change your number back after upgrade and you shouldn't have any warranty problems. This may cure your contacts problem.

As david states, just be sure to read and understand what you need to do before you do it. It is actually very straightforward.

you can always find your original product code at the back of your phone where your imei is...but check it before changing it because i don't know how branded phones are.
