I have an N95-3 that says "Made in Korea" on the sticker under the battery. Doesn't matter to me. We live in a global market now. I imagine that Nokia holds tight quality control in all their plants. Mine seems top notch. No problems reported from me!
Thanks for that Armand, the phone was purchased from an established distributor in Hong Kong, but the question still stands, does Nokia manufacture the N95-2 in China for the Chinese market? Does anyone have an authentic Nokia N95 "Made in China"?
Hi my N95-1 is a genuine "made in china" model.Well,it says so on the back.Lol

Thanks for the input guys/gals. But I still can't figure out why mine only says 'Made by Nokia". This is really bugging me!
I have seen couple of N95's that had Made by Nokia, both on the pack and device. Why dont you key in the battery # on the Nokia web site to check whether it is genuine. If the battery is genuine, chances are the device is genuine too.

however like armand posted, nokias have internals that are manufactured in multiple places. which is why QC similar issues seem to crop up across different continents .
Haha, yeah, that just adds further confusion. I have no doubt that it's authentic, I'm just looking for confirmation to see if it was made in Finland. According to the IMEI my phone is made in region "01" which would correspond to Finland, but another user pointed out that the IMEI's aren't indicators for country of origin. you Nokia!
