N 95 Back up

Hi

I am new to this forum with my new N 95.
I would like to update my phonesoftware but, as I understand, I will loose all my private data and the software I installed on my phone in applications while updating (I know already how to update the phone). My question is:
How can I back up my personal data and my software to the memory card or to the PC? For the software in applications I can't find any possibility to move the software to the memory card.

Thanks in advance for any tips!

Regards,

Matze

Hi gowzel

The back up didn't work well with the PC suite, after the software update I could restore from the PC suite only 62%, after that it stopped (me waiting for 2 hours and after that I gave up and cancelled)! Anyway, I had made a second back up to the memory card and that worked very well to restore!

Thanks,

Matze

Use PCSuite to sync your contacts and PIM data and then after update reinstall your apps to the phone memory. Backup/restore is too flakey.
You will benefit from this.
