Hiding Folders

To hide files/folders to hide away that porn *ahem* sorry I mean sensitive material,
you need FExplorer
(can't get it signed on mine as the symbian signer registration rejects my freeserve e-mail address GRRR ).

I'm not sure if thats what i'm after. I'm wanting to hide a folder i've created in the main menu, and not the gallery.

I have Y-Browser, and i've hidden files from the gallery before, but looking for the folder from the main menu, i can't seem to find it anywhere. Maybe Fexplorer is a little different, i'm not entirely sure? I'm basically wanting to hide games i've installed, which i've placed into a folder.

EDIT:
Tried to sign Fexplorer, seems to have a UID error. Sybian Signed doesn't give the the greatest impression for a new N95 user!

Thanks. I Think you also have missunderstood my question, i'm wanting to hide a file from the main menu's and not the gallery. I've looked for the folder in Y-Browser, but i can't see anywhere i can find the main menu folders.

Ahh I see you want to hide a menu icon yes ????

I don't think that is possible as far as I am aware.
unless there is a way of deleting the icon and running the program manually.
sorry about the misunderstanding I thought it was files you wanted to hide.

Interesting project though I might have a tinker see if I can find a way.

Had a play can't be done, even if you get rid of the icon by removing the registry link you cannot acces the \public directory on the phone or the mem card.
[looks like it's protected against user browsing access.](thats where the game files are installed).
Maybe you could use a 3rd party app to password the game folder.
This looks like your only option.

Agreed. Perhaps Guardian might do the trick
