I have the same phone on the same network as you.
Like you, I keep seeing references to firmware versions that are later then what I have. And these references seem to indicate that it is an important upgrade.
So it seems that the
N95-3 has fallen behind the other models. The explanation that I have seen is that AT&T is considering pickup up the 95-3. I guess the implication is that AT&T would want some restrictions placed on the phone (eg. kill VoIP) and this would be more difficult for them to enforce if there was a full featured and up-to-date firmware for the phone floating around on the net.
If this is true, then I would be pissed because I very much want to use this phone's VoIP feature, AND I want to have an up-to-date firmware.
Can anyone else confirm or deny this?
