8gb microSD card in standard N95
Has anyone an 8gb card in their standard N95? I'm thinking of doing it but am not sure if this would severely slow down the phone. Feedback would be great |

8gb cards can be faster than the smaller ones because most (maybe all?) are class 4 and many of the smaller ones are class 2 so slower.
When I went from 2GB class 2 to 8GB class 4 i definately didnt notice any slow down. quite the opposite

I've had an 8GB card since last December, works perfectly. You'll never look back (just make sure its Sandisk and from a reputable dealer).

Same here, Sandisk 8GB, no problems at all, maps, music, photos all OK, no speed issues whatsoever.

I have just ordered a 4GB SanDisk.Eagerly awaiting its arrival.Hopefully it works fine.Wanted to get 8GB but i couldnt source any :(:( Can someone advice me on approx how many MP3's and/or pics can be stored in a 4GB card?

Clearly that will depend on the size of your MP3s and pics. How long is a piece of string ?

Got a Sandisk 8GB card on my N95 version 1 and its perfect...32.99 with free micro card reader on fleebay. |
