Called up flagship NYC today -- asked about N95 and when they have it I got

i called the one in Chicago yesterday. The lady was sort of hesitant to officially confirm that they would be getting it soon. But from the nature of the call it deffinitely seemed like they would be getting it soon and she asked me if I wanted to be added to the email list for when it comes in.

I spoke to the manager of that store on Monday after they let the cat out of the bag on the 15th at the "An Evening with S60" event.

From the sound of your call... it mighta been the same guy that I talked to. Zero hesitation, super confident- before the end of the month.

Only two questions remain, how much- and how many are they getting at first? I hear the wait list was 90 strong in NYC before they even announced it was coming :shock: Two days later someone mentioned they were on page TEN. :(

I hope they're planning on getting more than a few...

Did she say how long the list was at this point? I'm on that list, so I'd love to know it's under 500. I assume they should get at least that many.

no idea, it didn't come up. But would they really be taking more wait list names if there was no hope of getting stock to the 10th page of wait list people? maybe...maybe not.

I expect they can and will get stock enough to service a ten page wait list, it's just how many shipment waves will that be? Will it be two months before everyone on the list gets a call? That's what I'd like to know.

I just got off the phone with a sales associate from NYC Flagship. he says they expect the units to arrive "real soon". They will be receiving 500 units and I was #247 on the waiting list. So there should be enough for everyone.

Can't wait to get that call-back from them.

Very cool news. What day did you snag the #247 spot?

I see you're in vancouver- how do you plan on getting your N95? I'm trying to figure that out for myself right now. I'm on both lists. I'm afraid to call and see where I am on the list.
