You might see one or two stupid answers though! ... Some of which are mine! ;)

I use PC-Suite v.2.0.230.0 ... If yours hasn't the options that jkoppee says, look on the Nokia site for the latest download of it.

Under PC Suite there's a button to update phone software (green square with an arrow), click this and it will open NSU (nokia software updater) and there should be a button to reflash the FW
Dear Brothers,

When I tried to reflash, my N95 could not get connected to notebook.
From the PC Suit - "Get Connected" - "Select Connection Type" then "Connect Cable" it stops and stays there.

I remember some days ago before I reset the phone, I upgraded the firmware (actually from v20.0.015 to the same version) hopefully it will repair the installed firmware.
During the upgrading process I got electricity black out, and then I have never been able to connect by cable, even after being reset and re installed.

That's why I still can not reflash the firmware.
What should I do to solve this silly problem?

1. hard-reset the phone (*#7370# default code 12345)

2. Uninstall PC-suite and install latest version... and try again.

3. Try it on a different PC, preferably running XP, not Vista.

Will this also delete all data & programs have already been installed like those Green button, * and 3 I did before?

Done, I have deleted & reinstalled my PC Suit (already v6.85.14.1 to another newly downloaded v 6.85.14.1) even twice.

Yes my notbook runing on Home edition Windows XP
It seems the only thing I haven't tried yet is *#7370#.
I will try this option, but what will the consequences (my first question on the above).

It will have exactly the same effect...

Have you tried using the N-series PC-Suite from the Nokia site?

Just heard about that, any special feature compare to standard PC Suit? Where can I download that?

By the way in using *#7370#, should I supplied the locking code that is still not known for my N95?
