Using Nero AAC encoder @ 0.52. About 230kbps per file. WE NEED OGG VORBIS SUPPORT!

+1 for HE-AAC v2 format, works great and is natively supported by the N95.

I'd love to know how to add album art though!

I'm converting all my cds to 64 kbps HE-AAC V 2 with PS and SBR. I guess you lose them if you go higher since dbpoweramp only converted to 64 even when I'd chosen 80 and forced to encode with version 2.

Hope to fit all my music on my N95 8GB.

I use 64k aac+ for all the music on my phone. AFAIK AAC+ maxes out at 64k which is why 80k won't work.

I use MP3 CBR at either 192kbps, 256kbps, or 320kbps depending on my source.. Never below 192kbps though..

I always rip CDs at 320kbps to keep the quality there.

But I use MP3 mainly because it's compatable with all programs & devices I use..

Point taken, but the main thing about HE-AAC v2 is that it gives you incredible quality for a tiny file size - so you can get masses more songs/albums on your micro SDHC device.

Some HE-AAC v2 blind testers thought that they were listening to uncompressed wav files when they were actually listening to 48kbps HE-AAC v2 files!

That's right, and I think that maxes out at 48k.
