If you're using
'Mobile Signer v1.03 by leftup@opda', see link below, available via
Symbian-freak.com, to sign files on the phone itself without needing a PC, then create a folder in your phone, name & location doesn't matter, and put your .cer & .key file in it.
In
Mobile Signer, click on 'Key file' and choose yours from the folder you made, do the same with the .cer file... You MAY be able to leave the password field blank, try doing that at first anyway... Then select 'Options' & 'Save config'. Passwords if needed, are believed to be 0123456 or 000000.
Return to the main screen, click on 'Sis File:' and choose the unsigned .sis file from where it's stored on your phone, then click 'Options' & 'Sign'.
The signed file is now in the same folder as the unsigned one, the only difference between them in the name of the file, being that the signed file has a '.sisx' suffix.
