Hi and welcome to the forums Knaps.
This not the only way, personal I've done the one in the link below, and recommend it to ANYONE. By far the easiest way to allow the installation of application, which don't have to be signed.

Hi, thx 4 the reply :)
What I've just noticed is on this chineese page they did something like special option for registered users to get a certificate (not necessarily by posting things and ur IMEI). At the top right corner u have something like "Cert Apply", I'm not sure is it ok to use it (cause other people are still posting their IMEIs and requests in that particular thread. What do u think about that? Did anyone try this?

It is safe to use, I just think it's a long process, 3 mins on that link I gave you, and just download an app and install no fuss.

You won't/ can't damage the phone with this method, but you MAY invalidate any warranty.

Hmm... strange thing. I've just received my cert and key files (pretty fast, i've been waiting maybe 12h :/ - method as I described above) and I've tried to sign application (RotateMe2.0), it created sisx file, but when i'm trying to install this one it still says "Certificate Error". Did I get wrong files or do I do something wrong?
Edit:
I've even received certificate in "old way" through the thread, but it still doesn't work :( I use Mobile Signer to sign the application on the phone, and then when sisx is created i copy it back on the computer and then using nokia software i install this sisx on the phone... but error appears :/ I don't know what i'm doing wrong, please help! :(

once you receive the certificate you still need a program to sign your apps, something like this will do the trick:
BINPDA SignSIS v0.5
or if you want to sign apps directly on your mobile see here:
sign an app on phone?
Theres a post on here regarding GenialSIS. You still need a cert file to sign apps with this program, and you can't download the cert from symbian signed unless you have a publisher ID or if you follow the method in this thread!!
