theory not exactly working for me :( signsisgui creates a key file using password 0123456 - creating another one using same password still dnt work, on another note, creating key files one after another with same password, you end up with keyfiles and none of them have the same contents, hopefully mine will be done tomoz on opda......

Can I just ask...what am I supposed to do once i've got this cert? Is that all I need to sign apps?

im on my phone now so cant check out the link in this thread properly but you all might want to have a look at this 2shared - download GenialSiS_11.zip havent had a chance to look at that properly either but it might work, dont know, if it does then it might be quicker than the link in the first post...

Don't flood that thread with false imei's then it will take longer for everyone else to recieve their cert... find another thread to spam, i got my 5 posts by just posting on the video/theme forums saying thanks to various threads, even though i didn't download them

once you receive the certificate you still need a program to sign your apps, something like this will do the trick:

BINPDA SignSIS v0.5

or if you want to sign apps directly on your mobile see here:

sign an app on phone?

Theres a post on here regarding GenialSIS. You still need a cert file to sign apps with this program, and you can't download the cert from symbian signed unless you have a publisher ID or if you follow the method in this thread!!

True enough for S.S.-generated certs... But highly unlikely for OPDA-generated ones! ;)

Guard those .cer & .key files well! ... It should also increase their value when reselling your phone!! :)

I just give mine away when i sold my N95 to a buyer from here,i couldn't justify charging for it at the time,still don't think i could now......if the price was good though i might re-consider LOL!

That's great mate, thanks for your help. Though i'm afraid I don't know what the 'key' file is! Does that come with the Certificate off the OPDA site?
