Spiderman 3 not working after firmware update
Hi,
I'v just updated the firmware on my O2 Nokia N95 8Gb from 11 to 15.0.015.
Everthing on the phone is faster and better, only slow applications i have noticed are Opera Mini and Yahoo Go.
However i have noticed i cant play the Spiderman movie anymore, when i try to play it i get the message 'No activation key' i'm not to bothered, however my kid who was kept occupied for ages watching the film is!
Does anyone know anyway to re-activate the key or get the film back... or should i not bother and just delete the who thing?
Thanks in advance.

A reminder to all that you MUST do a full content back up via content copier prior to firmware update unless you want to lose Spiderman3 content !
Nokia service centres and higher level repair have no way to re-install the key file should you delete it so there is no way to get it back

I've upgraded my firmware twice (by NSU - not at work) and still have the film working fine !
We always advise customers to do their own backup as we back up so many phones that the restore is not always successful ,especially if we have to send them for higher level repair which often means the backup file has long since fell off the restore list by the time we get them back.
At the end of the day it is the customers responsibility to back up contacts and content as the device itself is our concern but sometimes we do have time to help customers out a lot more than we can when we are very busy

I will be upgrading my Spiderman 3 8GB N95 in the next few days. I will do a full content back up, and cross my fingers the film is still there when I restore my backup, although, i do seem to remember that restoring backups of anything other than contacts and calendar items can cause problems, is this true, or does that only apply to the N95-1?
Thanks in advance
Micky

make sure you use the PC Suite supplied with the handset and then it should work fine ;)
Those using standard PC Suite (not N series) tend to suffer the majority of the problems although mine never restores messages
