Well worth the upgrade guys, especially contacts opening up so much quicker. Only thinh is i'm having to install nearly all my progs again. Tomtom was easy, Garmin was already there and a couple others but the rest i have to put back on. Good job i kept all my signed apps!
However i suspect N95-1 updates are going to slow down a lot now that there are 3 more N95's and a N96! Booooo, we'll have to upgrade, i dont think the others (8gb and N96) are worth it!

25 seconds faster? What firmware were you on before? On V20 mine doesn't even take 25 seconds total to start up!

I'll be offline for a short while so please all suggestions welcome - phone is debranded as well - what chances of getting it sorted at a nokia svc centre

hey i thing the same thing happened to me. i plugged the phone at around 10pm and then left it. i came back at about 5am and saw the connection to phone lost message also, and i saw my phone dead! i freaked out at first, but thats when i remembered something about the battery that one of you guys said earlier. so i removed and reinsert the battery, no luck there. then i plugged in the phone charger, and the beautiful sight came! the nokia white screen lights up and it charges as usual then i on the phone and see if it was damaged or anything. so far theres nothing wrong, hopefully itll stay that way :D
but it was still running on v20. heheh. so, has anyone checked the v21's front camera tone and messaging? dh_za said that the messaging was slow..

Updated my N95.. It was the CFW O2 product code..
All went smoothly, no pauses or anything... But then I do have 3Gb or RAM etc
Just gotta install 20-30 odd programs now and re-arrange my icons lol (Luckily I screenshot all folders etc so I know where to put things)
Peace all
Rob..

The bar code reader is much improved. It throws a quadrangle around any barcode and when you tilt or angle the phone this changes shape and colour. It quickly becomes a square around your barcode and becomes green, and reads it. Very fast and useful now.

Hey people, help please...
I backed up my informations: bookmarks, calendar, contacts and notes
When I select the file to restore it shows "Bookmarks, Contacts, Notes, Calendars"
But when I select this file and click "next", only appears check boxes for Contacts, Calendars and Bookmarks to check, no signal of Notes
Any ideas?
The backup completed successfully
