Hmmm, since I tried out the new PC suite beta last night, I can't get software updater to see my phone...

terrible timing.

I've tried uninstalling both PC suite and software updater, reinstalling them (and going back the non beta version of PC suite) and re installing support for PC suite on the phone, and still updater can't see my N95, whether connected though USB, bluetooth, or both.

Wish I hadn't tried that beta now.

Any ideas?

Use system restore if using winxp

Does the bug where the headset was plug into the phone and it auto-restart fixed in V.21?

Not aware there was a bug of that description with V20 to be honest. Mine certainly didnt do that.

Mine did ...now and again, haven't been able to update to v21 to check this out ...NSU won't recognise my phone... :(

i must say i didnt come across any bugs with V20 so hopefully things are just improved

Just updated to v21, all three users : skype still installs and works fine, as does my3 etc etc. all seems ok so far.

my n95 on v20 used to do the auto-restart (sometimes) after plugging in speakers, i've just tested it by plugging / unplugging 4 times, and no problem... but like i said. only ever did it sometimes. so only time will tell.

ok this is weird. updating didnt ask to backup the phone. it just goes straight to dowloading and updating after you hit the agree button.

i wasnt going to do this as it didnt give enough 'extras' for the hassle of re-installing everything, but i have had very occasional lock ups and restarts recently so a wipe clean is a decent place to start

Oh well the phone's insured if I brick it, because it might accidentally get put in the microwave haha.
