Fring will work (eventually) on
N95. I am 100% sure of that, there is no reason for fring to not work. The operating system is not new, the phone is new but is based in S60 so it will work. I am sure they are just fixing the software to "say" during the installation that it's working with the
N95. Just to make sure you guys should send an email to fring, they will reply in no more than 24h.
I use Fring a lot on my N73 (yes, you do have to keep the desktop+skype on) and I like it. I only have EDGE (unlimited traffic), no 3G and still I can talk just like it's a regular cellphone line. I actually use the SIP (you can get SIP accounts in soo many parts of the web today) so I do not have to keep my skype at home on, and the SIP account I have it's cheaper than skype Out anyway. You can call any number you wish and some SIP even offer free call to all US & Canada. So I end up paying 5.99$/month for unlimited internet and with fring + sip I also get unlimted voice calls :)
Pseudo, if you didn't already, you can also give it a try with Cingular, I tested it a few times and works just fine. Plus with SIP you can get any phone number you want (US, UK, etc .....)
