What works on v21?

Please don't shoot me for this. I can't search for "v21" on the forum as it's under 4 letters and "Firmware" brings up millions of threads.

I though it would be an idea to list what works on v21.

My N95 woes have all revolved around Bluetooth, and I would really like the new firmware, but not if it brekas any stuff.

I would like to know if anyone has tested the following on v21:

Motorolla S9's [check]
Sony MEX BT5000 [check] (thanks to kobirulali)
Scosche UBR Receiver [No!] (Don't know why I though it would! LOL)
Gear4 Blackbox [check]

you can use wildcards to search. include the * key after the keyword, (i.e v21*)

I have bt5000 (proof here: Sony MEXBT5000 Bluetooth Car CD Tuner - £124.99 @ ARGOS - HotUKDeals Forum). I posted the deal and bought it at that price (check username and avatar :-) ). Yes it works fine, it worked under V20 as well. As long as your phone bluetooth is AD2 or whatever it is then any phone will work.

V21 streaming sound should be better, i think it IS slightly. You can use your cd player to fast foreward and rewind tracks etc. Calling is good (although my cars' soundproofing isn't). Phonebook holds 50 numbers to display names - doesn't get it straight away from the phone :-(. Not sure of improvements in the new bt5100.

That's a shocking price! I paid about £180 for mine (some time ago mind).

Yeah, I've got one, all the kit I listed on the OP i already own and works sweet on v20. I'm just after advice from people to find out if it still works on v21. before I update.

So the Sony BT MEX5000 works on v21. Cool. Thanks :)

Thanks. I couldn't get it to work properly yesterday. Probably my fault. I've had a quick look about since and I don't think this is repeated anyway (phew)

If anyone want's anything adding to the list above, PM me and I'll edit the original post. Perhaps we could build up a "Tested" list for v21?

Then again, perhaps it's not necessary, I'm just paranoid from previous issues I've had.

V21 log says bluetooth streaming works better, it is correct but not that much better. On V20 listening to linkin park through streaming it used to sound like a cassette (even though it was high bitrate) will let you know if i try it again of any improvements.
